Social Media Manager
[CONSUMABLE CONTENT]
We’re seeking a multi-talented Social Media Manager with strong skills in marketing, communications, and visual storytelling. This role will require a high volume of content creation, with a particular emphasis on video production, for some of the most exciting hospitality brands in Central Texas.
A day in the life might look like: capturing video on your iPhone at different restaurants and bars across Austin, stitching together video clips and finding the perfect track to match, writing captions for Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok posts, browsing our content library for the perfect photo while you're planning social media calendars, practicing cheese pulls at a local pizza joint, putting together a newsletter for your favorite restaurant, or any combination of the above.
This is a fast paced job in a high volume restaurant marketing agency. You'll need to be detail-oriented, organized, proactive, and self-reliant to be successful in this role.
What are Social Media Managers Responsible For?
Social Media Managers are responsible for the success of their accounts; they’re expected to be aware of the client’s scope of work and proactively work to exceed their expectations. This includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities.
Content Creation
Planning Shot Lists, Concepts, and Themes for photo shoots, attending photo shoots, capturing iPhone video, creating Reels/TikTok content
Content Calendars
Planning Content Calendars, Submitting Content for Client Approval, Scheduling and/or Publishing Content
Newsletters
Planning, Composing, and Scheduling Newsletters in accordance with each client’s Scope of Work
Paid Advertising
Planning Evergreen Ad Campaigns, Boosted Post Campaigns, and Google Search Campaigns
Account Management
Communicating promptly and professionally with clients via Phone Calls, Emails, and Text Messages
Community Management
Responding to comments, messages, and reviews on behalf of your brands, incorporating audience insights into your social media strategy, and relaying ideas and information to your clients.
Platform Management
Updating Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok profiles to reflect industry best practices, curating Story Highlights to showcase valuable information, maintaining accurate Linktree, Bio, Profile Picture, Etc.
Requirements & Qualifications
We're looking for someone with experience in content creation, an eye for social media trends and best practices, exceptional communication skills, and a genuine passion for food and hospitality.

This is a hybrid role requiring regular attendance at meetings and photo shoots in the Austin area.

Compensation:
The salary range for this role is $38,000 to $45,000 per year, based on experience. Please include your salary requirements with your portfolio and cover letter.
